Top Songs of U2

This is a very depressing. Why spend so much time to talk about?

Anyone who has something to do for the development has found that all the good work already done has been in development with Top Songs the AIDS emergency canceled.

The first, say what I have decided never to do, the word "AIDS" without the '"emergency", a word later. ... Six years and a half thousand Africans dying Beatles Songs every day of a preventable, treatable disease is no reason, there is an emergency situation. ...

Find a difficult topic to be addressed?

I find it hard to talk to anyone face lacks some of the places we saw. See people queuing up to three, a bed, two to die on the top and bottom of a preventable, treatable disease makes me feel sick. It makes me ashamed, and, above all, do I control my  Top Songs anger.

I think in the history books, in 50 years and 100 years, the age of AIDS is a very large section, and the way in which our civilization has to say or should not respond much to us, and destructive, and certainly in Century 20 of the last 20 years. We hope that the story from the beginning of the 21 st Century, throws light, and our activism will come into play in the coming years, and perhaps will be a vaccine, because one day, at the age of AIDS on its own. I want, and all those who nickelback albums want to work on this, that, of course, before - in the next 10 years, if possible. ...

Why did you decide to actually focus on this particular issue, and what to do if  Top Songs you made the choice?

Well, we founded an organization called DATA - Debt AIDS Trade Africa, then worked the abbreviation. We believe these are the three biggest problems in Africa. The acronym has worked in both directions - Democracy Accountability Transparency Africa.

But there is no doubt that we can not in any way on debt and trade, without dealing with AIDS. Companies can not, when 10 percent of them die. It was an extraordinary statistic, in fact when I discovered that the giant corporations in South Africa, where they exceed 10 percent, 12 percent of its workforce with a death sentence against the head. I mean, it's very difficult to do business in the environment.

So those of us in the future of Africa and Africans see how very noble, regal, entrepreneurs must make available there, to get them through this phase so that their fate may be the same as in South Asia and other countries that were emaciated by poverty, but now flourishing.

U2 and nickelback albums

Bono: My understanding of Scripture was simply made by the person of Christ. Christ teaches that God is love. What does it mean? What does it mean for me: a study on the life of Christ. Love here describes how a child born in straw poverty, the situation most vulnerable of Beatles Songs all, without honor. Do not let my religious world too complicated. I'm just kind of going: Well, I think I know what God is.God is love, and how I respond [sighs] are transformed by Beatles Songs  this act of love and this love in me, that's my religion. Where it is difficultfor me, when I try to live this love. Well, that's not so easy.

Assayas: The God of the Old Testament? It was not nickelback albums so "peace and love"?

Bono: There's nothing hippie, my image of Christ. The Gospels paint a picture of a very demanding, sometimes sharing the love, but love is. I accept the Old Testament rather than an action movie: blood, car chases, evacuations, many special effects, seas divided, mass murder, adultery. The children of God are gone mad rebels. Maybe that's why they are so easily recognizable. But the way he sees nickelback albums t, those of us trying to figure out our Christian mysteries are that the God of  Top Songs the Old Testament as the journey of the stern fatherto friend. If you're a kid, you need clear directions and some strict rules. But with Christ we have access to one-to-one, because, as in the Old Testament, was one of adoration and awe, a vertical relationship. The New Testament, but by a Jesus who looks familiarlook, horizontal. The combination makes the nickelback albums s.

Assayas: Speaking of bloody action movies, we were talking about South and Central America last time. The Jesuits arrived there with the Gospel in one Beatles Songs  hand and a rifle in the other.

U2 INTERVIEW: GROUP THERAPY

Sunday Times magazine, November 07, 2004
By: Chrissy Iley

For 25 years, U2 have been through personal loss, drugs, alcohol, and rows on a titanic scale, even by the standards of the rock business. And yet they are still together. In a rare interview, Bono and the rest of Ireland's awesome foursome reveal how their closeness has enabled them to survive

We are on the Cte d'Azur, at one of those restaurants on the beach, on a balmy summer evening - in all senses of the word. Bono, 44, holds court with a man who would like to build a cathedral for all faiths. U2's drummer Larry Mullen, 43, is tucking into tempura and chips enthusiastically. He's stuck beside a woman who has close links to Tony Blair. Sometimes he despairs of Bono's appetite for the political arena; sometimes they argue about it. Mostly, Bono makes it work out.

Biography

U2 is an Irish rock band which formed in 1976 in Dublin, Ireland. Since the band’s formation, they have consisted of Bono (real name Paul Hewson) (vocals, guitar, harmonica), The Edge (real name David Evans) (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Adam Clayton (bass) and Larry Mullen, Jr. (drums, percussion). The band is the biggest selling alternative rock act of all time, having sold 140 million albums worldwide as of 2008. They have won 22 Grammys and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. As of 2009, they have released 12 albums and 58 singles.

Foundation: The band originally formed in 1976 when Larry Mullen posted a bulletin in his school asking for musicians to form a rock band. The band then consisted of the four current members plus three additional guitarists, including The Edge’s brother Dick Evans (later a member of Virgin Prunes), Ivan McCormick and Peter Martin. According to legend, Bono originally auditioned as a guitarist but couldn’t play. He auditioned as lead vocals, but really couldn’t sing. He was, however, incredibly enthusiastic about the band, extremely charismatic, a great writer, and was strangely able to reach the audience when the band played, something he is known for still today. Bono will reach out into the crowd and dance or mess with someone in the crowd at every concert. He was kept as a member. The extra guitarists would soon leave the band and the group would go through the names “Feedback ” and “The Hype” before finally settling on U2.
